TED Conference

Have you heard of the TED Conference? It's an annual conference that focuses giving presentations about 'things worth spreading'. The presenters here are among an elite group. Mostly intellectuals at the top of their field. You can find their talks online, streaming for free.

Imagine my surprise seeing Benjamin Zander here! Remember this from Greensboro in 2006? I'd say Kindermusik International was pretty spot on in getting him!

Hope to see you this year as we make more memories and blaze more trails!

I watched this TED Talk twice. It was so good. Some great tips on ways to hear and think about classical music. Eye-opening (and ear-opening!) stuff.

Careyanne,
What a memory and what possibility! Benjamin Zander is a jewel and it was so worthwhile to listen to him again! I truly need to reexamine the possibilities that Kindermusik offers! This economy needs possibility don't you agree? :) Julie

Thanks Julie and Shawn!

Julie - yes! If we can stay passionate at times like these, everything will surely be easier!

See you in Raleigh in a few short months!

Careyanne,

Thank you! This is just the inspiration I needed tonight. What an unexpected blessing to hear his message again, and I hope to share it with my families in starting up a new blog.

Great Amy! Also, if you're interested in creating a blog, there is a webinar today led by Aimee Carter on just that! The schedule and registration is in the Teachers' Lounge under Professional Development.
